From listening to the first few bars of Angela, the first track of this project, I was hooked. The interplay between these two guitarists is so complimentary of each other. But even more than that, it’s conversational. It’s like listening to a couple of great story tellers.
The sensitivity and responsiveness; the way they weave in and around each other is uncommon, and for me as a fellow musician, very inspiring.
Each player has their own, definitive voice. Not only in tone and sound, but in what they have to say, and the way that they say it. Every line feels intentional, but pure and spontaneous.
It just brings me back to my main point. Listening to track after track, I’m listening to two great story tellers telling great stories.
